Dear President Obama,

I’m writing, asking that you prepare a vigorous defense against the decision of the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Wisconsin, which struck down the federal statute that establishes a day for the National Day of Prayer. Appeals to the Almighty on our nation’s behalf have proven indispensable throughout the history of this great nation.  Please ensure that your administration exerts every effort to continue this great American tradition of an annual proclamation calling upon all willing Americans to pray.  Thank you.
