1. Please pray for God to raise up Christians in key leadership positions in networks and studios to make a positive difference in the media. (Proverbs 4:18)
News: Act One, a Christian training program for writers and producers in Hollywood, now has graduates at most every major film studio.
2. Please pray for the success for family friendly and faith-based movie projects. (Philippians 4:8)
News: The Blind Side, a positive, true story about a caring Christian family who adopts a young man from the projects, was a hit with audiences. Sandra Bullock won an Academy Award for her performance in the film.
News: The next installment of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, is coming to theaters in December.
3. Pray for celebrities to come to know Jesus. (Romans 10:17)
People at the very “top” may be wealthy and powerful, but also lonely and lost. Pray for their salvation.
4. Pray for revival to come to all of Los Angeles—the seat of the entertainment industry and home to media leaders. (Jeremiah 31:34)
