A time of public prayer for our city and our country. Clergy from several denominations and people from local organization will gather for a time of organized prayer as we pray for different areas of government, community organizations, and social issues. Since tasking office in 2020 Granite City Mayor Mike Parkinson has joined us in encouraging this day of prayer in the downtown area of our city. This year's gathering will take place at Civic Park next to the movie theater. Everyone is encouraged to join us in a time of praise and prayer, and grab lunch at one of the local eating establishments afterwards. 
Second Baptist Church will also host a time to pray and join with the rest of the country during the broadcast that evening.

We're gathering believers for a one-hour time of worship and prayer on Thursday, May 2 from Noon - 1pm at the McLean County Law & Justice Center.

Join us as we come together as one body to glorify our God and pray with one accord, for our families, school districts, government, first responders, and most importantly for God’s will to be done here on earth! We look forward to seeing you!

The Fulton County observance of the National Day of Prayer will be taking place at Jones Park in Canton, Illinois on Thursday, May 2nd. It will begin at 6 p.m.  Bring a lawn chair and join us in Worship and Prayer. The Speaker will be Pastor John Herndon of First Baptist Church. Our doors will be open for those that would like to utilize our prayer room. We will be streaming the International House of Prayer along with live devotional sets from some of our volunteers during that time.

The sanctuary will be open for praying, we will have pre written prayers to help guide. A devotional will be held at 6:45.

Dixon High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes invites school staff, students and community members to join us as we pray for our school, city, state, nation and world.  Gathering will be at the flag pole in front of DHS.

The Regional Prayer Summit is for people who desire deeper intimacy with the Lord and want to come boldly before the Father's throne.

Manny & Barbara, from Koinonia House Ministries, will co-lead the Regional Prayer Summit.  Gift of Voice is working with multiple local churches and ministerial alliances to organize this prayer gathering. 

The Regional Prayer Summit will be held on May 4, 2024 at Eden Church in Edwardsville, from 9:00am-3:30pm. Doors will open at 8:30am. Registration is required. Please note: if registration exceeds 500, we may move the Summit to a larger venue within Madison County, IL. Be prepared to pivot locations!

The Compass Church's Naperville Campus invites our neighbors and community to join us for corporate worship & prayer. All are welcome.

The Rockton National Day of Prayer will be held once again in Settler's Park by the gazebo.  We will be praying for our nation, state and local  government as well as pro-life, military and law enforcement.  Pastors from our local churches and those in our community will lead prayer for each topic. Pledge of allegiance will be led by the American Legion.  We have had services since 1992.  In case of rain we will meet at the Church by the side of the Road, 500 South Blackhawk

Calvary Lutheran Church holds a Community Prayer Service at The Radcliff.  We are inviting city officials and employees to attend to pray for our community and nation.
