Journey To Life Global Ministry will broadcast the 2024 National Day of Prayer YouTube livestream for our Global and online congregation and members to participate in the national observance in Washington DC.

This evening service will include individual as well as corporate prayer with a time of worship and communion.

Mercy Hospital Aurora will be hosting a National Day of Prayer community observance in the Carol Morris Room. Zach Thomas, Worship Pastor of First Baptist Church Cassville will lead us in worship. This will be followed by a series of prayers for various groups in the community. The event will end with light refreshments. 

The NEW LOCATION will be inside the Ballwin Government Center. Come and join other believers in Christ to earnestly pray for our community, state, and country.  Our prayer will be pastor lead and you will leave encouraged. Additional parking by the tennis courts.

Prayer and Action in Christ Together (PACT) is sponsoring a prayer gathering in observance of National Day of Prayer. Join us as we pray for community and nation.

The Pastors of the California Ministerial Alliance will be leading in prayer and praises at the Moniteau County Courthouse in California, Missouri. Inc case of inclement weather, we will meet in Sweet Chipotle Box lunches will be served for dine in or take out across the street at Sweet Chipotle. We are giving a special tribute to all law enforcement officers, fire fighters and emergency responders.

The Clever National Day of Prayer is a combined effort of the Clever Ministerial Alliance consisting of 6 local Churches. This ecumenical gathering is open to ALL within the community. Lunch will be provided (sandwich tray from "Apple Market" with drinks and dessert items). 

Locals will meet behind the Dardenne Prairie City Hall building to pray and worship.

Meet outside by the steps.  If it is raining, we meet under the gazebo.

Because of active construction, we’ll be meeting indoors in the city council chambers. 

You may have to park at the neighboring strip center and walk to the city hall.

Some local pastors and county officials will lead in prayer, and everyone will be given time to pray with the other believers who are in attendance.  Our main purpose is to pray for repentance and revival in our lives and in our Nation.

The National Day of Prayer is the First Thursday in May every year, and this event is held in the Rotunda at the Missouri State Capitol building in Jefferson City, MO. Please join our legislators, churches, leaders, and people of faith from across the state with your family and friends at the Missouri State Capitol on Thursday, May 2, 2024 to gather together as God’s people in public prayer. 

We will start the music at 6:45 and the Prayer Meeting will start at 7:00 promptly.  We will dismiss at 7:45 donuts and juice will be available.  We will have several local dignitaries there.  All Churches in the area are invited.

It’s very apparent that we need a great move of God in America—an outpouring of awakening and revival on our nation. We also know that every great awakening and revival in history is ushered in with God’s people passionately pouring out their hearts in prayer. One always precedes the other.

Americans across the country will gather on the National Day of Prayer in parks, churches, schools, and statehouses to lift up prayers and petitions to God.

This year NDP leaders call on fellow Americans to join together and pray in the power and promises of Scripture, bringing light to a nation in need of the Light of the World, Jesus.

The 2024 theme verse is 2 Samuel 22:29-31 ESV “For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.”

“Some may say the world is getting darker,” said National Day of Prayer Task Force president, Kathy Branzell. “But as long as God’s people are reading and relying on the Word, believing, and living His Word, praying, and practicing His Word, the world is full of light that exposes and dispels the darkness. The world will get better and brighter if we commit to live out this year’s National Day of Prayer theme, Lift Up the Word, Light Up the World.”

These bright and shining prayers will be carried out in all 50 states and several U.S. territories through tens of thousands of local prayer gatherings on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 2nd.

We will meet in Room 317 for a time of snacks and fellowship, followed by an hour of prayer, and a conclusion of reflecting. There will be signs directing you to Room 317. Our prayers will be short, conversational style, and some will just listen. No one needs to pray out loud. All are welcome!

We will have two NDP gatherings.  The first will be held on the Scotland County Courthouse lawn, in Memphis, MO, from noon to 1:00 pm. The second is an evening event and will be held in the Scotland County Courtroom from 6:45 pm-8:00 pm. Please enter through the north end of the building that evening.

Outside City Hall

The first Thursday of every month is All Church Prayer Time at Orrick Christian Church, where we gather together using a printed prayer guide to pray for National leadership, Kingdom work, our church, our pastor, and every name on our four page prayer list.  For May, the prayer time is dedicated to interceding for our National leaders - President, Vice President and Cabinet members by name, State, County and City officials using the NDP theme verse.  This prayer time is held at the church and is open to any who would like to join us in prayer.  It is a structured prayer time staring with praise, silent confession, thanksgiving and intercession.

Program beginning at 6:30 a.m. with speaker Brent Longenecker, MBC Making Disciples Strategist.  Breakfast following program at 7:30 a.m.

National Day of Prayer gathering in conjunction with other such gatherings across our nation to call upon the Name of the Lord together.  2 Chronicles 7:14-15 “If my people would humble themselves and pray” 

I will be using the 7 points of prayer and will have a person talking and then praying for each prayer point.

Since 1988, the National Day of Prayer in the United States has been established as the first Thursday in May. Participate with us at Heritage Bible Church, 301 Droste Rd. in Saint Charles, on May 2nd at noon, as we gather to pray. 

1988 – Ronald Reagan signs into law the designation of the first Thursday in May as the annual observance for the National Day of Prayer – President Reagan signs Public Law 100-307 January 25, 1988, in the Second Session of the One Hundredth Congress (Public Law 100-307—May 5, 1988).

Come pray as we declare our dependence on God and lift up prayers according to His Word.

We will gather with ministry leaders, city officials, and first responders outside of the Town and Country Municipal building for a time of directed prayer. All are welcome to join!

I will be so full of joy to see all who wish to come gather with me to pray in Jesus name for our community, city, state and nation at Saint Peters City Hall. Rain or shine... we will PRAY!! At 11:30, the committee for the National Day of Prayer will pray for our elected officials in attendance.  The program will begin at 12:00 with different people praying for each area and then the people in groups will pray for that area.  We finish by singing God Bless America.

We are meeting at the flagpole outside Wildwood City Hall from 12 noon until 1:00 pm.  Please bring a folding chair to sit on.  We will be inside if there is bad weather.
