Prayer Train Across America envisions the spiritual healing of the United State through obedience to God's word as recorded in 2nd Chronicles 7:14.  Prayer Train calls for individuals to "Get on Board" by practicing humility, turning from actions that are contrary to God's will, and sincerely seeking God through prayer and Bible Study. Afterwards, those who participated, are asked to consider joining us the first week in May by either literally "Getting on Board" a train that will travel from East to West across the United States, praying humbly for the whole of America, or by joining with faith communities along the route, to pray as the train passes through.

The national event from D.C. hosted by our President Kathy Branzel will be available to watch on the www.nationaldayofprayer.org website, Facebook, Daystar, GodTV and many other places.  This year it will be broadcast in EVERY nation in the world.  "Lift up the Word, Light up the World" is the theme this year.  Join in prayer in the comfort of your home or with a group of warriors to pray along.  

As a crescendo and culmination of over one-hundred prayer gatherings throughout the year, International Christian Host Committee and Capitol City National Day of Prayer (CCNDP) invites all who hunger and thirst for righteousness in our land to join the inter-generational, cross-denominational, multi-ethnic gathering on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol.

This is a personal invitation to add your voice to the throng that petitions heaven, the celebrants of Jesus Crist and the work of the Holy Spirit in these unsteady times.  "Rise, shine, for the light has come and the glory of the Lord has arisen upon [us]'  To this end, the national theme is: "We Lift Up the Word and Light Up the World."

Daily from April 26 through May 2, 2024, at 7 Am to 8 AM, we gather on the West side of the U.S. Capitol.
